What is the shelf life of sheep casings?

For our dry salted products, an expiration date of one year from the date of shipment is applied. In the case of sheep casings preserved in ready-to-fill salt brine with lower salt concentrations, the product requires a shorter soaking time, which offers convenience to the user. However, these casings are inherently more perishable. Therefore, an expiration date of two months is assigned when stored at temperatures maintained between +2°C and +7°C.
